Hey Sam, have you read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver? If not, I think you'd enjoy it - it's about her first year living on a farm with her family, experimenting to see if she could live almost entirely off what she could produce locally or buy from her neighbours.
so cool, I haven't read it but will def check it out. That sounds like such a fun experiment. We live right near some really great farms including one that is a co-op that different independent farmers work on together. Also very relevant to a side project i'm noodling on with a friend around local food. Thanks for the rec!
